Biography

Rachel was born and raised in Scotland. From an early age she was always singing, dancing and performing.

From the age of eight Rachel has been playing piano and has achieved her Grade 7 ABRSM practical exam. Her piano playing helps her immensely as it has taught her to sight sing and be able to do intricate vocal harmony work.

Rachel had her first professional job playing "Cinderella" in Hamilton and Rutherglen's (SLLC's) pantomime. She joined the incredible Infinity Artists agency and then went on to work in Hong Kong Disneyland for 7 months which was an incredible experience. She performed in their stage show "Mickey and the Wondrous Book," portraying the delightful characters of Elsa and Rapunzel.

Her next performing adventure was with Royal Caribbean on-board their beautiful ship, Navigator of the Seas. Rachel was a Featured Singer in two production shows; "SHOWGIRL!" which is the brand new show for the company and "Ballroom Fever." She was also appointed the role of Vocal Captain for the cast; this included managing the singers and holding rehearsals to ensure the shows were maintained to a high standard.

As well as performing, Rachel is also a freelance teacher offering private piano and singing lessons and singing, acting and dancing classes for theatre schools. She has been teaching for over six years and has worked with beginners all the way to professionals in the performing industry.
